There are young women who have naturally sagging breasts since puberty. More often, however, the problem of sagging breasts occurs after pregnancy or after significant weight fluctuations. In all these cases, a breast lift can be useful.
In principle, we perform breast surgery on patients aged 18 and over, and this also applies to breast lifts. Under the following link http://blog.breast-atelier.ch/breast-lift-after-breastfeeding/ you will find further information on breast lifts.
If your own breast volume is too small, you can certainly have a breast lift with a breast augmentation operation. However, the risk of any necessary subsequent correction is higher with these operations than with a breast lift alone.
In most cases, you will be unable to work for around 4 days, but this can be longer depending on your activity.
The size of the breast does not change after the operation. However, the shape changes over time. Initially, the breast is very firm and plump. Due to the elasticity of the skin, however, the skin tone will adjust and the tissue will loosen over the course of a few months after the operation, so that the breast becomes softer again and takes on a more natural shape. Depending on the quality of the tissue, the breast may also sag slightly again.
The tightened breast can lose a significant amount of volume, which leads to a renewed loosening of the remaining tissue with sagging of the skin mantle.
In principle, every operation carries certain risks (for example, drug intolerance, bruising, wound healing problems, inflammation, scarring problems or sensitivity problems). They also depend on the individual's health condition. Very rarely, a breast lift can lead to circulatory disorders of the breast tissue or nipples, which can result in tissue loss, loss of sensitivity, loss of pigment in the nipples or scarring. In principle, every operation carries certain risks (e.g. drug intolerance, bruising, wound healing disorders, inflammation, scarring problems or sensitivity disorders). As a rule, the ability to breastfeed is not affected by a breast lift. However, as the ability to breastfeed depends on other factors, including psychological and hormonal factors, an impairment cannot be ruled out.
The 3D visualization computer needs various points on the ribcage to be able to calculate the simulation of the breast. Example points are the nipple, the edge of the areola, the boundary of the breast in the middle, on the outside and in the area of the underbust fold. However, the point in the area of the underbust crease is not visible with hanging and/or large breasts, which is why the simulation calculation cannot be performed.
