Experience report: Breast reduction by Seraina F.

von Patient Seraina F.

My reasons

I already had very large breasts as a teenager. At the age of 18, I was already toying with the idea of having a breast reduction. I had an F-size breast and my right breast was significantly larger than my left (more like a G-size). Both breasts were also not firm and I often had to deal with skin irritation in summer as the skin rubbed due to sweat.

The physical strain (back pain, pressure points from bra straps and the constant discomfort in my clothes) finally made me want to have an operation more and more.

At the age of 24, I finally decided to have a breast reduction. After a consultation at the Breast Atelier, I felt very well looked after and understood. My only wish was that the new breasts should no longer have any skin contact. We agreed on a C-shape, which was ideal for my body shape.

The day of the operation and the healing phase

On the day of the operation, I was a bit nervous, but the whole team was very welcoming. I had a lot of questions about the anesthesia in particular, as it was my first operation. The specialist took enough time to explain everything to me, which made me feel very well looked after.

The operation went without complications and I was able to go home relatively quickly. I was given sufficient painkillers and was surprised that I hardly had any pain.

The wound healing went well overall. After about three months, a small inflammation occurred on a scar, as my skin is very thin, especially in the nipple area. I then went back to the Breast Atelier, received a suitable cream and after a few weeks everything was completely healed.

After just a few months, I was able to do sports again and felt increasingly better both physically and mentally.

My result and conclusion

Today, some time after the operation, I am very happy with the result. My breasts are now proportionate, pleasantly light and naturally shaped. I normally wear a C or D cup, depending on the incision. I no longer have back pain, can walk around without a bra and can finally wear clothes that I like.

But what is most important to me: I have significantly improved my quality of life and finally feel comfortable in my body. And that's a feeling I've missed for a long time.

I would therefore have the operation again at any time. It was one of the best decisions of my life and a real investment in my well-being and self-confidence.

A good first basis for a decision are testimonials
