The shape of the breast cage is anatomically predetermined and varies from woman to woman. Most women have a uniformly shaped ribcage. In some women, however, the ribcage is inclined either inwards (funnel chest) or outwards (pectus carinatum).
With a pectus carinatum, the breastbone is slightly forward compared to the rest of the ribcage. As the shape of the ribcage directly influences the position and inclination of the breasts, the breasts of a keel breast are often positioned towards the outside (lack of cleavage), which bothers some women regardless of their breast size and/or shape.
In the Breast Atelier, the shape of the ribcage is taken into account when planning breast surgery (enlargement, reduction and lifting) and also influences the shape and size as well as the placement of the implants, particularly in the case of an augmentation. The surgeon also adapts the surgical technique to the shape of the ribcage.
Yes, depending on the sternum and rib anatomy, very beautiful breast shapes can be achieved, especially with breast augmentation: on the one hand through the ideal choice of implants and on the other hand through their optimal placement.
Decisive for a successful breast operation, especially in the case of a breast deformation, is a professional preliminary clarification (possible use of the 3D visualization device), careful surgical planning and several years of experience of the surgeon.
The Breast Atelier's team of doctors consists of specialists with several years of professional experience who work under the medical supervision of Dr. med. Cédric A. George, the founder of the Pyramid Clinic (today Plastic Surgery Pyramid), which is renowned far beyond the country's borders. The effect is impressive - many reduce their body weight significantly in a short time. However, where fat disappears, the skin also changes. This is particularly visible on the face, stomach and chest.
