Basically, a distinction can be made between saline, hydrogel and silicone-containing implants. We only use state-of-the-art, high-quality implants made from cross-linked silicone. The advantages: they can no longer leak and produce very beautiful, natural results.

After the operation, the consistency of the breast is firmer. Only rarely do patients complain of a certain foreign body sensation during the first six weeks. As the procedure progresses, the breast becomes soft and usually feels natural. In very slim patients with little subcutaneous fatty tissue, the implant may be palpable, especially on the sides and in the lower pole of the breast.

A general replacement every ten years, as was previously recommended, is not necessary.
As with other procedures where foreign material and implants are used, it cannot be ruled out that breast augmentation will require follow-up treatment over the years. However, the reason for eventual replacement is usually not the durability of the implant, but often changes in the patient's own body and tissue reactions. The probability of replacement increases with age

Breast augmentation does not affect the ability to breastfeed as the implant is placed behind the milk-producing gland.

No. Extensive studies show that breast implants do not increase the risk of breast cancer.

Depending on your job, you can expect to be unable to work for three to four days. In the case of physical work, the period of incapacity to work lasts longer. Please seek individual advice on this from our specialists.
