Why did I decide to have a breast augmentation?

This decision did not come overnight, but was a «process» üover several years, during which I repeatedly toyed with the idea. I had my first daughter at the age of 29 and my second daughter was born two years later. I breastfed both of them, the first for about 7 months and the second for about 10 months. Before my children were born, I had a bra size of approx. 75 B – C. During breastfeeding I was even a size D. After weaning, I was still a size A. I think various factors contributed to this, not only the breastfeeding /weaning, but also possibly also by strength training /endurance training, the start of menopause, slight weight loss, etc.

My decision

I could no longer accept this. I wanted to feel more feminine again, but on the other hand I also had concerns when I thought about the operation. I had negative media reports in my head and wondered what others would think, would it be very noticeable, would I have to replace the implants in a few years? Many questions kept running through my mind and stopped me from going ahead with the operation. Since the thought wouldn't leave me alone, I finally started to inform myself. I read various reports and looked for a suitable clinic. One thing was clear to me: the quality and professionalism were more important to me than the price. I wanted to know that I was in good hands.
The Pyramid Clinic in Zürich was known to me as a clinic with a good reputation. I thoroughly informed myself about everything on their homepage and read through the CVs of the various doctors. In the end, I decided to go with Dr. Nicolas Waughlock.

The operation

I had the breast augmentation at the age of 47 and now have roughly the same breast size as before. I wanted to have the lost volume «filled » again. I have never regretted this decision, on the contrary. I can finally wear bras again without push ups and without pads. It is so much more comfortable and pleasant. I am very happy with my decision.

The operation went well and so did the healing process. No problems have arisen so far and it's been just over 6 months since the operation. I was in a lot of pain for the first few days after the operation, especially when driving, possibly due to the vibration. However, I strictly adhered to the instructions and took it easy, even though I am used to doing regular sport. This paid off and everything healed well. I took 1 ½ week vacation after the operation. So I was able to rest. The scars are inconspicuous under the breast / in the breast crease.

I found the first consultation and the examination before the operation to be very professional, everything was measured, we discussed which size made the most sense and suited the body, including what was important to you and what shape the breast should have. Pictures were also taken in 3D so that you could see roughly what it might look like afterwards. I found Mr. Waughlock to be a very pleasant person and I immediately felt at ease. After the consultation, my concerns were allayed.

I found the anesthesia rooms with the light blue and white clouds on the ceiling and the staff who prepared me for the operation very pleasant and reassuring. Everything was explained and I was well informed about everything.

The operation with general anesthesia took place at around 10:00/10:30 and I was able to leave the clinic at around 14:00. A friend picked me up and afterwards I was able to rest at home. The Breast Atelier (right next to the Pyramid Clinic) offers this solution. So you can go home on the same day. The price is therefore slightly lower. I think this is a good alternative, so you can decide for yourself whether you want to spend another night at the Pyramid Clinic or not. The doctors at the Breast Atelier also operate at the Pyramid Clinic and vice versa.

In the end, I can recommend this clinic with a clear conscience.
