Treatment by Dr. med. Georg Noever
I am 42 years old and have lived in Düsseldorf for 13 years. I had my procedure with Dr. Noever on October 12, 2020. Breast augmentation from small A to large B, with 220 ml silicone under the breast muscle.
«I was always unhappy with my breasts»
I still remember my first desire for «nice breasts». I was 16 years old and always at the swimming pool with my best friend. I envied my friend with her full, firm and shapely breasts. I looked down at myself: mine were uneven, flat and just small. Unfortunately, over the years, this never faded and so the thought of a breast augmentation lay dormant in my head for years.
Over the next few years, as a maturing woman, I repeatedly regretted my small breasts and never thought of them as particularly beautiful. It was in my early 20s that I really started to think about breast augmentation surgery for the first time. Of course, the money was always the main reason for me not to do it. Well, a procedure in Germany costing over 12,000 euros was a waste. So it was almost out of reach for me. After another 8 years and under constant observation of my body, it suddenly became clear to me within hours: I'm going to do it now. If not today, then never!
After a positive experience with the ex-girlfriend of my current partner (ladies, please don't roll your eyes), I came across the Breast Atelier in Zürich. I briefly researched the website and then immediately made an appointment for an initial consultation with Dr. Noever - I was curious. My appointment was two days later. I received a warm and very friendly welcome from Mrs. Amos, the practice manager. The atmosphere was comfortable and made me feel reassured and trustworthy.
Dr. Noever greeted me in a friendly manner and I immediately felt at ease. Surprisingly, I didn't have that many questions because I first wanted to experience what it's like to receive professional advice. After Dr. Noever had studied my proportions and physique in detail, he suggested creating a 3D simulation. The plan was to go from an A-caliber to a good B-caliber. I was amazed at how quickly the result was achieved and how realistic the photos were. My decision was made. If I do, then I'll come back here.
It actually took another 3 years to get there. An inspiration and the realization to do it now came almost overnight. The next morning I made an appointment for the operation directly by email without any detours. Despite Corona, I had the opportunity to make my desired appointment within the next 2 months. I chose this during my vacation (3 weeks long). I had finally started to look into the subject of breast surgery in depth.
In the beginning, I watched all sorts of different videos on YouTube. I'm telling you, not just the harmless reports, but filmed procedures directly from the operating room by some surgeons. Actually intended for medical students. I was shocked, traumatized and thought, oh my God, that looks terrible. I quickly changed my strategy. I focused on positive thoughts and anticipation. About two weeks after my written registration for my surgery appointment, I received the brochure with the declaration of consent, invoice and information. I carefully read through the details and sealed my future with new breasts with my signature (and transfer of the invoice).
After registering, I had another consultation appointment with Dr. Noever. After all, it had been 3 years since my last visit. All my open questions like: What anesthesia options, sports activities, sleeping, eating, swimming…he explained everything to me patiently and in detail.
He later looked at my breasts again and showed me the implants he would recommend. I was now finally convinced that I was doing the right thing!
«I was missing real experience reports»
However, I was somehow missing experience reports from a good friend who could explain everything to me in detail. As luck would have it, I found out a week before my operation that a good friend had also had her breast augmentation at Breast Atelier. She said to me, «Don't worry, you're in good hands there». So I relaxed for the last seven days before the procedure.
I confess, I love my glass of wine (or two or three) in the evening and my cigarettes, yes, I don't like to give them up. But an important part is before and especially after the operation to prepare not only the mind but also the body, ideally three weeks before the operation to greatly reduce alcohol consumption and smoking or, for the really sensible among you, to stop altogether. After the operation, it is essential to go without for 14 days! Believe me, the desire was not really there. I kept it up and even went far beyond that.
On the day of the operation (2 pm surgery date), I had my last coffee in the bathtub at 5 am. Today is the day, bye bye you little brüste….I was incredibly nervous. My boyfriend couldn't drive me to the day clinic because he had been abroad on business two days earlier and had to stay in home quarantine because of corona. So I took a cab. I took the tablets that have to be taken two hours beforehand to support blood clotting. I was then two hours early and had already prepared myself for a long wait.
«And suddenly everything went very quickly»
However, it then suddenly went very quickly. I registered at the Breast Atelier and the pre-op photos were taken. Then I was allowed to go down to the day clinic and was given a very warm welcome. I changed into my pretty surgical gown and took a seat in the comfy bed.
I was suddenly deeply relaxed and had no more fear. I was looked after by a carer who was soothing. She showed me the bra that would be put on me after the operation. About 15 minutes before the procedure, Dr. Noever came to me in a good mood with a grin on his face and brandished a green sharpie. He then drew the markings for his procedure on my skin and said: "That's it, so see you in a minute." A short time later I was accompanied to the operating room on foot by my lovely nurse. On the way to the operating room, I walked past a bed where a young woman had just woken up from anesthesia. She called out to me cheerfully: "Hey, have fun!" I thought that was totally cool and now my fear was gone once and for all.
I lay down on the operating table and saw that 5 people were there just for me at that moment. Never again in my life will I be so well looked after. I was given a cozy warm blanket from the preheated oven and everyone was in a great mood. The atmosphere was great. The anesthetist first gave me the sedative and then the anesthetic. He explained every step to me beforehand and then said: "So, here we go, sleep soundly and drink sweetly". And then I was gone.
I woke up to the lovely wake-up call of my lovely nurse. „You made it!“. I can't tell you how happy I was and thought to myself: It's really done, I've only just fallen asleep…. I was sooo relieved!!!
After the operation I was fit but yes, I was in pain. Every woman reacts differently, but I immediately felt like having an infusion of painkillers. I received this immediately and it helped wonderfully. I touched my breasts very carefully. The first challenge was after about 30 minutes when I wanted to go to the toilet. Now, this is wobbly and awkward with both drainage tubes necessarily in place. Sitting up in bed has to be done without the support of the hands, because propping up is now taboo. So, wiggle your body (swing your bottom upwards to the right and left) and you can sit up. Good for the stomach muscles too :) My nurse accompanied me to the toilet, of course. I rested for about two hours and then I was picked up by my colleague and neighbor.
My caring nurse helped me get fully dressed. I recommend that you wear a top that can be closed at the front on the day of the operation. Lifting your arms above your head to put on a sweater or T-shirt is also prohibited for the time being. I was accompanied to reception and left in the hands of my colleague, who picked me up. Once I got home, I was told to relax in a half-sitting, half-lying position. I made myself comfortable on the sofa and spent the evening in front of the TV. I was given a lot of painkillers, which I had to take according to a strict schedule. And I'm telling you: do it! This stuff is important and helps. There's no need for heroines here who say: I can do without it.
The first night was honestly no fun. I am the worst side-slider. Weeks before, I had already tried sleeping on my back and kept giving up. Willpower is just not my strength. Your body reacts automatically and you won't sleep on your side. This can lead to a restless night. The natural protective mechanism of not turning on my side lasted a week for me, then I took a careful stable side position (a side pillow helps wonders) and spent relaxed nights. The pain after the operation was bearable but in my case only with the support of the full medication drone I received.
«I am just ühappy»
The next day I had the appointment to have the drains removed. Naturally, I was terrified of this. I had never had tubes pulled out of my body before. But I was glad to have it, because you really don't want the wound secretion that has collected in the bottle in your new beautiful breasts. Mrs. Amos, the practice manager accompanied me into the treatment room and for the first time I took off my bra and was able to admire my new breasts. What a sight. I was overjoyed.
Dr. Noever gave me a cheerful and friendly welcome. He confirmed once again that the operation had gone well and asked how I felt. The removal of the drainage on the left side tingled like the removal of a plaster, accompanied by a slight burning sensation. It lasted exactly 2 seconds. I didn't actually feel anything on the right side. The holes that remain are treated with plasters, which can be removed after two days. The suture under the breast is protected by plasters, which can be removed after two weeks.
I spent the next few weeks at home, mainly on the couch. It is important that you have all the items you need within reach. So don't stick your arms out to get something out of the cupboard. Furthermore, it is of course an advantage if you have someone in the household who can help you. My arm position was mostly that of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, nice in the paw position. The bra was honestly the thing that bothered me the most, it was strange to wear it at night and I constantly had the feeling it was too tight. But that is completely normal and should be the case. I received two different bra’s. One like a top and the other slightly thinner. I wore the firmer one all the time because it was more comfortable for me.
I have always had very sensitive nipples. In my case, this did not change after the operation. It is not painful, but very uncomfortable. I actually had a feeling of numbness below the breast crease for up to 10 weeks. This is quite normal as the nerves are logically severed and it takes quite a long time for them to grow back together. I had a painful feeling of pressure on my ribcage. I was assured that this was also completely normal, as there is usually little padding there due to fatty tissue.
I finished the medication as instructed. However, I took one Dafalgan 1 mg per day for another 5 days afterwards if I was sensitive to pain. In the first few weeks, I was advised to avoid bathing and only shower with the plasters. However, as I have very sensitive nipples and the water jet was unpleasant, I filled the bathtub with lukewarm water and only took a half-full bath so that my breasts were not under water. This was the best solution for me. You should just make sure that you don't bathe too hot so that the tissue doesn't start to sweat.
«First of all, no sport»
The same applies to sporting activities. You should avoid it completely for the first six weeks. This wasn't a problem for me at all, as I'm not an absolute sports fanatic. However, if you are very sporty and don't want to do without it, I would advise you to discuss this before the procedure.
After 10 days, I had my second check-up at the Breast Atelier. The patches under the breast were removed and replaced with Micropore tape. I had to replace this every 2-3 days for the next 6 weeks. You will be given a roll of 3M. Simply buy more if required. The healing process went very well and I felt better every day.
I was lucky enough to be able to work from home. Sitting was a bit unusual for me. I had to stretch my back every now and then to relieve the strain on my spine and give my breasts an upright posture. Mrs. Amos also gave me the tip of adopting a proud posture. And it really does help.
«Buy bra’s without end»
With each day I felt better and was able to enjoy the healing process and the ever-improving freedom of movement with enthusiasm. The big day was November 24, 2020, when I was finally able to say goodbye to my friend, the support bra, and start wearing normal bras. What a joy, the shopping could begin. I have never owned so many bras before. Without push ups and double bottoms. I am looking forward to the summer. Finally being able to wear backless dresses, finally being able to wear nice bikinis that aren't padded or cheated with unpleasant gel pads. An indescribable feeling.
On December 5, 2020, I had my last appointment for a photo shoot with the after pictures.
Dr. Noever confirmed that everything went according to plan and that the result was flawless. I will never forget his proud smile. If a surgeon is passionate about his profession, then Dr. Noever is. He is competent, factually clear and without frills. With him there is no «monster bosom» in XXL format, but what suits the anatomy of the respective woman. I felt as if he saw his result as his personal masterpiece and that made me feel special.
Today, 3 months after the procedure, I am still very careful. I don't lift anything exceptionally heavy and I still don't support myself with my body (when getting up from lying down or sitting). I have probably unconsciously trained myself to do this. I still don't go jogging and have made friends with alternative walking, but without the steps. During certain activities where you can't avoid using the chest muscle, the chest moves with it. This is a completely natural occurrence with the surgical method under the pectoral muscle and you will get used to it. I like it somehow.
If you have wanted to have a breast augmentation for a long time, then the Breast Atelier is the perfect place for you.
The operation under general anesthesia is absolutely necessary and you should not let yourself be talked into it by claims such as «less invasive surgery due to the fact that you will be asleep». I found the anesthesia to be gentle and very tolerable. No dizziness, no nausea, no drowsiness. I was relaxed and felt well rested.
Dr. Noever has more than 30 years of professional experience in this field. What could be better for you? And stay away from cheap offers abroad. Your body belongs in trustworthy hands that are exclusively responsible for breast surgery.
The result has become beautiful for me and is still positively changing my life. Every day!

After breastfeeding, my breasts were very saggy - asymmetrical and flabby. As the contours of my ribs were visible above the nipples, even a push-up bra made no sense. Every underwired bra was too big.

In winter I could hide my skin flap. In summer, I tried to conceal my something of nothing with cup bras. At the latest when I went swimming, I felt ashamed. No bikini fit anymore. My male upper body looked terrible. It hurt to look at myself in the mirror.

After two pregnancies and two long periods of breastfeeding, my breasts were empty and I could barely fill an A cup. I no longer felt very feminine and was often frustrated when I put on my figure-hugging tops or favorite bras.

If I had known in advance that the procedure and the healing phase would go so well, I would have made the decision much earlier. The scars have already healed very well. It's nice to finally be able to say goodbye to the push-up bras. Dr. Adelsberger did an excellent job and the result is more than satisfactory.
