Why and since when have I been dissatisfied with my own breasts?

For around three years, or since I was 23, I have been studying how to change my breasts, as although they were large enough, they were somewhat asymmetrical on the one hand and never really firm by nature on the other.

Because of the many positive testimonials, I finally decided to have a consultation at Breast Atelier.

How did the consultation at Breast Atelier go?

I found the consultation with Dr. Adelsberger to be very professional, informative and reassuring. Although I initially asked her for a more expensive and probably more lucrative operation (breast lift with the insertion of implants), she advised me to only have a breast lift (the cheaper option).

I had the feeling that she was listening to me and my wishes. I felt that she was soon able to assess my wishes and needs well by asking specific questions - for example, we also talked about the desire to have children and about breastfeeding - and then advised me accordingly.

This showed me that the Breast Atelier focuses on naturalness and the real health and well-being of the patient and not on making money.

How prepared for surgery?

Fixing the date of the operation was somewhat complicated on my part, to which Breast Atelier responded with a lot of patience and flexibility.

In the time before the operation, I was informed very precisely about all procedures, medication and the procedure, so that I felt very well prepared for the day of the operation.

What happened on the day of the operation?

On the day of the operation, I was looked after extremely warmly and carefully by the nurses and the medical staff in charge, such as the anaesthetist and Dr. Adelsberger as the surgeon, took care of me. Adelsberger as the surgeon took a lot of time to give me very detailed information about everything.

I felt really comfortable and in good hands. The operation went without any complications. After the operation, I rested for about 3 - 4 hours, was given something to drink and eat as required and was regularly asked how I was feeling.

After these few hours, I was picked up by car and driven home without any problems. The day couldn't have been more pleasant.

How was the first week after the operation?

Sleeping during the first night was sometimes a little uncomfortable due to the drains. The day after the operation, I was able to go to the clinic with the ÖV (with an escort) and the drains were removed without any pain.

On the same day, I was able to go for a short walk in the fresh air and although I kept the medication to a minimum or stopped it completely after three days, I never had any pain.

Healing went very well in the first week and I was able to go to work (as a teacher) without any problems on the fourth day after the operation.

How was the follow-up treatment ensured?

After around two weeks or a few days after the second follow-up appointment, the suture in the lower T-incision on the right breast opened. I called the Breast Atelier straight away, where my concerns were taken seriously and I was immediately given an appointment.

I was informed that this could happen and was shown how to treat the area with Bepanthen plus and plasters. All of this was provided by Breast Atelier. After about a week, the area healed relatively well and today, five months after the operation, there is no longer any sign of it.

Unfortunately, a few days later, the suture of the upper T-incision on my left breast opened, whereupon I was given another appointment and then a special treatment was announced for this area too. This area took several weeks before it was completely closed again.

During this time, I had a lot of contact with the Breast Atelier, by email or phone, and I was always taken very seriously, given good advice and was able to visit several times. The area is currently still slightly different in color, but this will also fade and will no longer be visible after a while.

How satisfied am I with the result?

I am absolutely happy with the result of the breast lift. My breast sensitivity was completely restored after about four to five months.

Has the operation paid off?

The breast lift had a huge, very positive impact on my self-image. I feel so extremely comfortable with my new breasts and wear clothes that I could previously only dream about. I really enjoy my new body image and would always make the same decision again.
