With Motiva Preservé™, Breast Atelier Zurich offers an innovative method of breast augmentation that is gentle on the tissue and respects the natural anatomy.
The implant space is not prepared in the classic way, but gently stretched. This technique avoids unnecessary tissue separation and allows the sensitive structures of the breast to be largely preserved.
Smaller incisions of 2 to 2.5 cm using special surgical instruments are the prerequisite for a particularly precise insertion technique that minimizes scarring and supports an aesthetically inconspicuous result.
The expansion creates a precise space for the implant without affecting the muscle. The procedure is usually performed under sedation or brief anesthesia, with a larger amount of local anesthetic solution being applied to each breast. This ensures controlled tissue tension and facilitates insertion of the implant via a small access.
Preservé™ is used exclusively over the pectoral muscle. In combination with the Motiva Ergonomix2® implants with SmoothSilk® surface, it creates a natural movement of the breast that adapts harmoniously to the shape of the body. Many patients appreciate the discreet approach, the short recovery time and the soft, authentic tactile sensation.
However, the technique has clear limitations. It is suitable for implant sizes up to around 300 ml, requires good tissue quality and is not ideal for very slim patients, pronounced breast ptosis (sagging of the breast) or after previous operations. In such cases, alternative procedures are recommended.
