Once the decision to have breast surgery has been made, the next step is to plan the procedure. This includes the date of the operation. But which season is best for this?
Breast surgery can be performed at any time of year. However, those who choose an appointment in fall, winter or spring have advantages. The complete healing of the operated breast normally takes ten to twelve weeks or longer. Surgical scars must not be exposed to sunlight during the healing process. In summer, the scars should be covered and protected with sun cream. In the colder months, there is no need to think about this.
So when you get your loose-fitting clothes and bikinis out of the wardrobe again next spring/summer, the scars and traces of the procedure will have healed.
The Breast Atelier's team of doctors consists of specialists with several years of professional experience who work under the medical supervision of Dr. med. Cédric A. George, the founder of the Pyramid Clinic (today Plastic Surgery Pyramid), which is renowned far beyond the country's borders. His Center for Plastic Surgery, which is now one of the market leaders in Switzerland, has set the standards in terms of quality and reliability in plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
Under the patronage of the Plastic Surgery Pyramid, these standards are also accessible to a wider audience in the Breast Atelier. Our specialists in plastic surgery are the guarantors of quality surgery.
