Basically, a distinction can be made between saline, hydrogel and silicone implants. We only use the most modern, high-quality implants that are filled with hydrophilic silicone gel.
The advantages: they cannot leak due to the strongly interwoven molecular chains, feel pleasant and genuinely soft (similar to biological breast tissue) and produce very beautiful, natural results.
We also offer breast augmentation with B-Lite implants, which are comparatively lighter in weight. However, the use of these implants is only suitable in selected cases and cannot be offered at an all-inclusive price. If you are interested, please discuss this in your personal consultation.
Our surgeons take a lot of time to understand your needs and ideas in detail, and 3D simulation can also be used to help.

Round vs teardrop-shaped
The introduction of dimensionally stable silicone gel instead of liquid silicone allows the production and use of natural-looking, teardrop-shaped implants that retain their shape in any position. A beautiful, full and natural-looking breast is easily achievable with anatomical implants.
Round implants, on the other hand, which were the only option around 20 years ago, are not suitable for every patient. Due to their round shape, they can lead to an unnatural-looking result in certain cases.
The shape of the implant also changes depending on whether the implant is placed under the muscle or over the muscle. Individual, specialist advice is therefore essential for the ideal implant choice.
The implant is inserted via the shortest possible incision, which is made in the breast crease beforehand. Great importance is attached to sterile insertion and at the same time to the shortest possible incision so that the subsequent scar is as small as possible. Find out more here.
In breast augmentation, the implant can be placed in different body planes.
The aim of optimal implant placement is to place enough of the patient's own tissue over the implant. Only then can a natural and full breast shape be achieved. It also minimizes the risk of the implant being falsified or the edges being seen.
If the patient has enough of her own tissue, the implant can be placed under the mammary gland (subglandular). However, the implant is often also covered with the muscle skin (fascia) in order to achieve a better hold of the implant.
If the patient does not have enough of her own tissue, the implant must be placed in deeper layers in order to create a natural and full breast shape in the long term. In this case, the implant is placed under the muscle (submuscular) or covered by a fat graft (lipotransfer).
A modern method of implant placement is the dual plane method. Here, depending on the anatomical conditions, the implant is placed partly under the muscle and partly under the mammary gland, with which very beautiful results can be achieved.

Only a small amount of fat is required for this method. It is therefore also possible and helpful for slim patients.
These combination procedures are being used more and more frequently because the breast volume and shape can be altered in a targeted and individualized way.
There is often little autologous tissue in the lower area of the breast crease. As a result, the implant is sometimes noticeable or even visible. Through the targeted use of autologous fat, these areas can be retouched by thickening and a very natural result can be achieved.
In particular for thin women with little breast tissue, the visibility of unsightly implant margins can be prevented, for example.
Own fat can be used to compensate for existing asymmetries very precisely. In addition, the autologous fat makes the skin softer and thicker, which means that the implant can be better covered.
An often appreciated side effect is that excess fat deposits (such as on the abdomen, flanks, outer thighs, etc.) are suctioned out, which also improves the contour.
The implant is used for volume augmentation.
In most cases, the implant is covered in the upper area by the muscle (method: insertion of the implant under the pectoral muscle).
The body's own fat is harvested from fat deposits, washed and specially prepared and injected into the surgical area after the implants have been inserted.
You will remain in the day clinic for at least 2 hours for monitoring, after which you may be picked up.
After the operation, 3 follow-up visits are necessary, the first of which takes place the very next day. The wound is checked and any wound drainage tubes are removed. You will be informed promptly of the dates for the two further follow-up checks.
Swelling and numbness, as well as a slight feeling of pressure, are normal after augmentation. However, this subsides after the first few weeks. It can take several months for the original sensation to return. After 4 - 8 weeks, however, the traces of the operation should have largely healed.
To ensure healing with as few complications as possible, wear a supportive sports bra for 6 weeks.
You should expect to be unable to work for 3 - 4 days. However, this may be longer depending on your professional activity
Sports rest break
Sports must be completely avoided for 6 weeks, after which it is easy to start again. Sports that put a lot of strain on the chest muscles, such as horse riding, strength training in the chest area or intensive yoga, should only be resumed after 3 months
