Before the operation

I never had much of a bust and through intensive endurance sports I naturally lost even more volume there and my breasts were really depleted.

Since I was otherwise happy with my body, I had always put it off. Although I had been thinking about breast augmentation for years. So five years ago I went to a preliminary consultation (also in Switzerland) to see what would be possible to give the whole thing more volume and firmness. However, I had imagined it to be completely different and the surgeon said it would only be possible with anatomical implants and a breast lift. As this didn't suit me, I refused.

The idea was then put on the back burner for a while until a friend recommended the Breast Atelier in Zürich to me. So I made an appointment with Dr. Adelsberger. She gave me very good advice, measured me precisely and worked with me to find the right size for my body. A 3D scan also gave me a better idea, as I still found it difficult to determine the optimal size. Right from the start there was trust and sympathy and I made an appointment for an operation straight away. I opted for 380 ml round implants with a small areola correction. The implants could be placed over the pectoral muscle. I previously had a B cup and now a D-E. It feels so huge, but is very harmonious with my body.

The day of the operation

I was able to prepare myself well for the procedure and drove calmly from Graubünden to Zürich that morning on 3 May. I was warmly welcomed at the Pyramid Clinic and accompanied to my bed. I was once again informed about the anaesthetic and the procedure and Dr. Adelsberger drew the operation markings on my body. It didn't take long before I was taken to the anesthesia room. When I woke up in the day clinic, I had a certain amount of pressure on my breastbone. But this was normal after such an operation. I was told again how to take the antibiotics and painkillers. My friend picked me up shortly after midday and I was able to go home. It was still a strange feeling with the bandage and I stiffened up completely. The pain was unbearable - I took the recommended dose and got through it fine. The first night was very uncomfortable. I was not used to sleeping on my back.

The next day was the check-up, the bandage was removed and the pressure eased quite a bit. I took a look in the mirror for the first time. I was already impressed with the result. The scars were taped, which I changed once a week. Now I had to wear the supportive sports bra for 6 weeks, first 4 weeks day and night, then only during the day. I had gotten used to it well. The pain was well tolerated with the medication, but I was still somewhat restricted in my movements. My nights were the hardest, as I usually slept on my stomach or sideways. I was happy when I was able to sleep on my side again after a few weeks.

I had a week's vacation after the operation, which I thought was good to recover and take it easy. 

After just under 6 months

I was happy every time I looked in the mirror after the operation. Finally my long-awaited larger and firmer breasts. It feels so good and I am so happy to have decided to have a breast augmentation. If I had known in advance that the procedure and the healing phase would go so well, I would have decided much earlier. The scars have already healed very well. It's nice to finally be able to say goodbye to the push-up bras.

I can recommend the Breast Atelier with complete satisfaction. I had already been to another clinic in Switzerland for a consultation, which was out of the question for me.
